Skilled Treatments & Training with Lisa J. Berger, Acupuncture & Zero Balancing

Lisa's Treatment Sessions

Each treatment is customized for the purpose of the visit as clarified by the client’s priorities, and physical evaluation.

Lisa treatment spaces are peaceful and conducive to deep relaxation and healing.

All of Lisa’s healing arts involve skilled evaluation methods, precise contacts, and gentle stimulation. Treatment plans arise from these evaluations and avoid diagnostic labels and reductive protocols.

Lisa’s sessions often elicit immediate relief and/or the experience of being in a healing process. While both subtle and gentle, Lisa’s energetic contacts typically give rise to a state of deep relaxation while on the treatment table.

Lisa chooses treatment tools that will be most effective in each session.

These tools include:

  • acupuncture needling
  • gentle finger pressure,
  • contact with tuning forks,
  • moxa-heat either with cones on acupuncture points or indirectly with a moxa cigar,
  • high-quality essential oils on acupuncture points,
  • crystals placed on the body, and
  • a far-infrared heat lamp.

Lisa may guide clients in self-healing body-mind practices. Characteristic of all of these treatment methods are experiences of improvement in mood and physical comfort.

Where information is relevant to treatment or self-care, Lisa shares precise interpretations of intuitive information.  With her help, patients can better understand their pain, modify their habits and consider additional treatment options.

Treatment Sessions: Initial treatment sessions are 75 minutes and include an intake and goal-setting process, energetic evaluation, a treatment and recommendations for follow-up care.

People who have experience receiving energy therapies like acupuncture and Zero Balancing may request a 45-minute tune-up for their first session.

Follow-up sessions are generally booked for 45 minutes.

For Children: If you would like Lisa to help your child, call to discuss consultation and treatment options.

Self-care Consultations without a treatment are also an option.

On the Day of Your Treatment: Be prepared to discuss your goals, your medical history, and current treatments, medications and self-care practices. Arrive a little early to settle in and avoid the strain of rushing. Wear comfortable clothing. Very little disrobing will be required. Come as scent-free as possible. Be well hydrated and refrain from eating a heavy meal shortly before your appointment.

After Your Session: Give yourself time to integrate your session and allow a few hours before engaging in strenuous activity. Lisa may provide specific recommendations to support your healing process.

Zero Balancing Clinics

Periodically Lisa offers special ZB clinics at her InBody studio space were she treats two people during each appointment slot. These Zero Balancing sessions are offered at a reduced rate and allow for more time between contacts to integrate the work. The InBody space is especially peaceful and conducive to this work

Phone Sessions

Consultations and Distant Treatments: Lisa offers phone consultations involving an intuitive connection to assist in self-care. When appropriate, she can provide a non-local treatment starting with a conversation outlining the goals for the session.

Preventing COVID transmission: Because we are in close proximity for a period of time, wearing face masks is a simple way to avoid transmission. Let Lisa know if masking is a problem for you.

Please cancel if you know that you have been exposed to Covid-19 or are experiencing symptoms.  In general, stay home when you are feeling sick.

Cancellation fees are waived in the case of illness or possible exposure.

Lisa Berger is compassionate, intuitive, and skilled in many healing practices. I would recommend her to anyone who seeks an alternative approach or who has not been helped by mainstream medicine.
